Landscape: the process

Since I'm filling up my time with studying landscapes I though I'd share with you the first part my process.

I use a gradation of grey markers to simplify what I see in front of me and then transfer this process onto a larger surface. Basically I do this so I'm not focusing on every little detail which tends to get a little muddy with paint.

Honestly I love doing marker sketches. They are extremely simple but can be quite profound in their own way...at least I think so ;)
